Selling your home doesn't mean doing the closing yourself.
The professionals involved in completing a real estate transaction still do their jobs. ViewMyListing gives you the technology to manage the parts of your home sale you choose to handle yourself.
You're changing how your home is marketed and managed — not eliminating the closing professionals.
A traditional listing agent is not the person who performs every title, mortgage and closing function. Those functions are handled by the appropriate professionals involved in the transaction. With ViewMyListing, you use professional technology to market the property, manage buyer activity, showings and offers while remaining in control of the sale.
What happens after you decide to sell?
Market your home
You use ViewMyListing to present your property, manage buyer inquiries and showings, and keep control of your sale.
Find a buyer
Interested buyers can ask questions, request showings and submit offer information. You decide how to respond and whether an offer works for you.
Reach an agreement
Once buyer and seller agree on the transaction, the signed purchase agreement becomes the roadmap for the professionals involved in getting the transaction to closing.
Title and financing work begins
The title company performs its title and closing functions. If the buyer is financing the purchase, the buyer’s lender handles its mortgage and lending requirements. Other professionals may participate when the transaction requires them.
Closing documents are prepared
The closing and financing professionals prepare the documents required for their respective parts of the transaction. Selling with ViewMyListing does not require the homeowner to become a title company, mortgage lender or closing professional.
Close and transfer the property
The parties complete the required closing documents, funds are handled through the closing process, and ownership is transferred according to the transaction and applicable requirements.
What ViewMyListing does — and doesn't do
ViewMyListing provides the homeowner's selling technology: property presentation, marketing tools, buyer inquiries, showing management, identity-verification options, offer-management tools, document organization, professional signage and, with the applicable package, an MLS listing workflow through an independent licensed provider.
ViewMyListing is not your broker, attorney, title company, lender or closing agent. When professional legal, title, lending, tax, inspection or other services are needed, those services remain with the appropriate professionals.
