Privacy Policy
ViewMyListing.com is a service of Taro Systems, Inc. This draft describes the data practices built into the V2 development application and is intended to be reviewed and finalized by counsel before public commercial launch.
Information we collect
We may collect account information, contact information, property information, listing content, photos and documents, buyer inquiries, showing requests, transaction and payment status, device/security information, and records of consent and communication preferences.
Checkout and consent records
When a homeowner purchases a ViewMyListing service, we may retain a record showing that the purchaser accepted the Terms & Conditions. That record may include the authenticated account ID, purchaser email address at the time of checkout, property and package selected, Stripe checkout session identifier, date and time of acceptance, Terms version and revision, IP address, browser or device user-agent, language preference, and referring page. We use this information for transaction records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and evidence of consent.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, operate property listings, process purchases, provide AI-assisted image and listing tools, fulfill signs and domains, route eligible MLS orders to participating licensed professionals, manage buyer inquiries and showings, prevent fraud, maintain records, improve the service, and provide customer support.
SMS/mobile information
Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are used to provide the communications specifically authorized by the user. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process communications only as necessary to deliver ViewMyListing services.
Service providers
VML uses specialized providers for hosting, databases/authentication, payments, media storage, address lookup, AI services, email/SMS delivery, domains, fulfillment and other operational functions. Providers receive only the information needed for the applicable service and are subject to their own contractual and privacy obligations.
Property media and AI
Original property images are retained separately from AI-generated versions. Materially AI-staged images should be labeled “Virtually Staged.” VML is designed not to use staging to misrepresent permanent property characteristics.
Security and retention
VML uses authenticated accounts, access controls, HTTPS, server-side secrets, row-level data permissions, audit records and other safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Transaction, consent, security and audit records may be retained for legitimate business, legal, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution purposes. Other data retention periods will be finalized before launch based on operational, legal and contractual requirements.
Your choices
Users can manage account information and communication preferences. Reply STOP to supported VML SMS messages to opt out and HELP for help. Requests concerning personal information can be directed through the Contact Us page.
Governing law and venue
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Privacy Policy and disputes arising from ViewMyListing's privacy and data practices are governed by Michigan law. Any lawsuit, action, or proceeding concerning those practices must be brought exclusively in a state court located in Kent County, Michigan, or, where federal subject-matter jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court having jurisdiction over Kent County, Michigan, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
